 My Artisan™R455V23  speakers are fantastic. I find myself forgetting about the equipment and just getting lost in the music and movies.

The most astounding aspects of these speakers is the transient response and the level of detail one can hear, and lack of distortion of any type. . thanks for all your help and support during the very drawn out build. speak again soon

Having just completed my speaker build from the Artisan 455 level 2 Signature speaker kit, designed by Russell Storey of Stones Sound Studio, I am now reaping the audio and pat myself on the back rewards. The build took me 6 weeks of I am in the shed but yes I would like a cup of tea,and I still love you. I finally emerged with my treasure and connected them up to my Rega/Sugden set up, selecting Mr. Bensons 'masquerade' for a test. Well they worked which credit must go to Russell who designed and constructed the sound makers and gave limitless advice throughout. The sound was far beyond my expectations ,it was very musical  there was a silence between the sounds then a clarity of frequencies that left the music with to my ears no distortion or jumbling of sound which made for easy listening what ever the volume, also my wife was impressed and approved as she has very sensitive hearing this was important. The build of the cabinets is straight forward and enough of a challenge to result in something to be proud of. I was lucky to have woodworking tools that were up to the job, if not then I would give the plans to a cabinetmaker and just assemble which still allows enough input to call it a self build. As they say the proof is in the old pud, and I love my new speakers. Does anyone want to buy some lovely second hand Tannoy's .
